Red Squirrel hero trying to save the world from Grey Zombie Squirrels....what else do you need to know?

This piece was purely concept art, nothing more and nothing less. Being so familiar with modelling in 3D I wanted to give this character a real sense of weight without touching any 3D software.

For a piece like this, I'll start with a rough sketch, create shapes in illustrator before shading in Photoshop using a Wacom.

I wish I had the time to dedicate to all the characters that float around in my head.
